Sergey Tokarev’s Tokarev Foundation and SET University Announce Generation H Winners

Two Healthtech Startups Awarded €20,000 in Grants: Sergey Tokarev’s Tokarev Foundation and SET University Name Generation H Finalists

Ukrainian university SET University and Sergey Tokarev’s Tokarev Foundation have announced the winners of the third season of the Generation H healthtech accelerator. At the final, held on 10 September in Kyiv, the main prizes went to two medical technology startups: AtriaPRM and Enhance Your Ability. The former uses AI to automate doctors’ work with medical documentation, while the latter is a platform for children who do not use spoken language.

About the Generation H Finalists

The third season of the accelerator lasted 10 weeks. It was implemented as part of the EUNITED Digital Hub, co-funded by the EU under the Digital Europe Programme. Unlike previous seasons, teams from outside Ukraine were also eligible to participate. The mentors included Eric Henry (King & Spalding), Fergus O’Dea (FIRE1, Keimon Medical), Volodymyr Nerubenko (TerraLab, Lab24) and Alexa Sinyachova (Moeco, Techstars).

“Healthtech in Ukraine has become a fully fledged industry with its own leaders, some of whom are already expanding beyond the country. The accelerator was created precisely to find such founders,” says Yevheniia Klepa, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at SET University.

Five startups reached the final:

  1. AtriaPRM uses AI to automate the processing of test results, consultation notes and diagnostic reports, transforming them into structured data.
  2. TomoPulse analyses data from digital chest tomosynthesis scans.
  3. Enhance Your Ability brings together educational content, alternative communication tools and support for therapists, parents and schools working with children with special needs.
  4. OBRIY combines a licensed clinic, AI-powered triage, telemedicine and a unified electronic patient record.
  5. PRM helps patients perform exercises prescribed by their physiotherapists.

“AtriaPRM was named the winner of the final, with the team receiving a €15,000 grant. Another €5,000 went to the Enhance Your Ability team following an audience vote,” noted Sergey Tokarev.

Programme Background and the Role of Artificial Intelligence

Generation H is a national accelerator run by SET University and Tokarev Foundation, launched in 2024. More than 30 startups have already participated in the programme, with over 60 lecturers and mentors contributing to its activities. Programme alumni have collectively raised more than UAH 11 million in investment.

“Throughout my years of working with investments and technology, I have seen hundreds of promising products, but healthtech has always been a distinct sector for me. That is because success here is measured not only by a company’s revenue or valuation, but also by a person being able to walk again or a doctor having enough time to save someone’s life. That is why Generation H was created. I want the world’s next major healthtech company to emerge right here in Ukraine,” says Sergey Tokarev.

Today, healthtech is developing in close collaboration with artificial intelligence. AI is already widely used in data processing, medical image analysis and the automation of certain processes. In the future, the technology will be applied even more extensively in treatment and the development of innovative diagnostic methods.

According to Ihor Liski, founder of the EFI Group investment holding company, AI will play a leading role in the future development of medicine. Today’s individual healthtech solutions represent only part of the changes ahead, as the technology has the potential to significantly reduce the time needed to turn a scientific idea into a tool for practical medical use.
