According to local media reports, officers of Dubai Police are using smart helmets adjusted with an infrared camera and other AI tech to detect high body temperature (fever) of the general public amid the coronavirus crisis in the Emirati state.
The smart helmets are developed in a way that the infrared temperature detectors literally take a few seconds to scan people’s fever. The smart helmets not only check the body temperature of the people but it is also equipped with face recognition technology and car number reading tech, the local news reported.
