Lithuania says Russian drone found last week had explosives

A Russian military drone which flew into NATO member Lithuania from neighbouring Belarus last week was carrying some 2 kilograms of explosive material, Lithuanian officials said on Tuesday.

“It was carrying an explosive device, which was successfully neutralised by Lithuanian armed forces specialists at the scene,” prosecutor general Nida Grunskiene told reporters.
