France’s culture ministry announced that several Paris museums including the Louvre would be closed Saturday, when officials fear more looting on the margins of a new round of protests.
The Orsay museum, which houses 19th-century art including the Impressionists, and the Picasso museum are among the other venues affected, said a ministry statement.
