Several fire-fighting team are trying to tackle the fire at Tyseley Industrial Estate in Birmingham.
West Midlands Fire Service has reportedly asked people living nearby to keep their doors and windows closed due to heavy smoke in the area.
Drivers are also warned to seek alternative routes as the major city routes have been ‘severely affected’ by the impact of the fire in the city of Birmingham.
“We currently have 10 appliances plus specialist appliances in attendance at a severe fire,” the West Midlands Fire Service tweeted.
The smoke from the fire can be seen from several surrounding areas of the city including Birmingham Airport, Aston, Small Heath, Newtown, Bordesely Green, Sparkbrook, Weoley, Haymills and Sparkhill, etc.
