Other vendors such as OnePlus, Samsung, and Xiaomi have either released or working to release their custom skin with Android 11 to their customers. As is the case with almost every major software release, the Android 11 update contains a bunch of bugs and other issues.

The Android 11 update brought a long list of improvements including Chat Bubbles, better notifications, and built-in screen recording to name a few. Most of the non-Pixel devices won’t receive it until later this year or early next year. OnePlus has rolled out Android 11 to OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro.

Google recently released the October security update for Pixel phones. It fixes some of the initial problems that Pixel owners had encountered. The company has also acknowledged a number of bugs that will likely be fixed in a future update.

Here we will be keeping track of the Android 11 bugs and issues that users have encountered since installing the update. Last week, Google confirmed that it was investigating the Chat Bubbles issue. A fix could arrive in the coming days.

A large number of users had also complained that they were unable to use Bluetooth controllers for cloud gaming services like Google Stadia. It also causes trouble when users try to play audio in their cars via Bluetooth. The Pixel 4a users appear to be the worst affected by the Bluetooth issue.

Battery draining is another issue that has been haunting customers. It appears that the TuneIn Radio could be sapping the battery. Several Pixel users have also complained that the Do Not Disturb feature is not working properly after installing the Android 11 update.

A lot of Pixel phones running Android 11 have encountered an issue with the gesture navigation feature. If you find that the swipe feature is not working properly after upgrading to Android 11, several users said that a simple reboot fixes the issue.

Users of the State Bank of India’s YONO mobile banking app have complained that the app doesn’t work well on Pixel handsets running Android 11. SBI is currently working to fix the issue.
