Last month, the company made an announcement, stating that it’s now committed to rolling out major OS updates to its flagship smartphones for three years. Furthermore, the company added that it’ll commence that with the S10 series. Looking at that, here are some of the devices that should receive the new Android 11 update.

Speaking of when the new Android 11 update will be available, you can expect it around December or January. That’s the same time that the previous releases, Galaxy S10 and S9 received the update during their time.

When Will My OnePlus Phone Receive The Android 11 Update?

OnePlus rolled out the public beta of Oxygen OS 11, based Android 11 update, to the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro devices on September 8. With that, it means the company will soon start rolling out the stable version of the operating system to its eligible devices. For now, the Chinese company is yet to announce when it’ll start rolling out the stable version of the Android OS. However, based on previous releases, we should be able to guess the exact date. The company rolled out the Android 10 update to some of its devices, including OnePlus 7 and 6 series, at the end of last year. Also, the OnePlus 5 series picked up the Android 10 update in May 2020. As such, you should expect the same thing to happen this time around. You should also expect the upcoming OnePlus 8T to launch, running Android 11 out of the box.

When Will My Oppo Phone Receive The Update?

Oppo has already started rolling out the beta version ColorOS 11, which is based on Android 11, to some of its devices. As such, you should expect the company to roll out the Android 11 update pretty soon. Furthermore, here are some of the devices that’ll be eligible for the ColorOS 11 update, including when they’ll bag the operating system. You should expect the new Android 11 update to also roll out to them a few weeks after the skin update.
