Have you ever been in a situation where you’re trying to lock your iPhone with the button and accidentally end the call? This iPhone feature has frustrated a lot of users and even landed some in trouble.

“I’m so sick of myself I was waiting in the phone queue for so long dumb ahh iPhone side button ends calls I accidentally pressed it,” a user recently posted.

“Its so annoying when you press the side button on the iPhone and it ends the calls. Wish there was a way to turn this stupid feature off,” posted another.

Users frustrated with iPhone lock button end call feature

The feature has been around for years. Most Android phones don’t end the call when the lock button is pressed. However, iPhone users are quite frustrated.

“So my personal phone is an Android & my work one is iPhone & WOW IPHONE SUCKS cause how come every time I’m on a call & push the lock button, IT ENDS THE CALL,” a user posted.

“The lock button should never end a call. The worst iPhone feature EVER,” a user tweeted.

“The disable lock to end call has me majorly confused. Everyone I know has an issue with calls hanging up when pressing the lock button. I haven’t had that problem since iPhone 7,” another tweet said.

The good thing is that you can turn off the feature to prevent hanging up on your friends or colleagues. Many people are still not aware that they can turn off the feature in just a minute.
