Unfortunately, Apple will not be putting out a mini version due to poor sales. Usually, the iPhone models are set on a storage increase on its base level. There could be a $100 price increase with the Pro models being costly.

The rumor floating around before the release is that the standard iPhone 14 will not bring out the A16 processor. This could be the segregation that Apple uses to variate the pricing.

These could be expected prices of the upcoming models:

  • iPhone 14 Pro Max – $1,199 / £1,149

The predictions are based on the last models’ prices. There could be alterations in the price due to inflation or minor price hikes. Although, a lot of people are hoping they remain the same. So, the base iPhone 14 Pro model would cost under a thousand dollars.

Are iPhone 14 pre-orders expected to sell out?

Apple has a good history of making sure that early buyers can snag their devices at the launch. However, a lot of people experienced issues with sellouts last year.

Certain models and variants of the iPhone 13 faced delivery backlogs due to higher demand. This was mostly the case with the higher storage capacity versions of the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max.

Although, Apple never lists its devices as ‘sold out’, instead it extends the expected delivery date of devices. Verizon has the same process as well.

Last year, Apple pushed delivery dates to early October mostly for iPhone 13 Pro models. However, it could be due to the chip crisis at that time. Additionally, there were reports of fewer iPhones being produced.

Some people had to wait up to three weeks to get their phones. The demand also increased due to the ongoing Black Friday deals.

Apart from the stock shortage and demand issues, the pre-order window is quite limited with Apple launches. They usually last over a week or so. This year would also be the same as per predictions.

So, you will need to pre-order your phone immediately after the announcement to get it before everyone else. We are hoping the official release date will be in late September. Till then, save a good chunk of your money to buy the newest and most advanced Apple smartphone.
