CGI artist Mike Winkelmann, known as Beeple, made the biggest NFT sales in history. Initially, Beeple posted about the sale of 21 of his works on Twitter which was in the form of NFTs.
The digital artist posted a new work of art online every single day for 5000 days and then minted as an NFT called The First 5000 days. It made a record sale of $69,346,250 on March 11, 2021, and was the first NFT artwork auctioned off by Christie’s.
