How Twitter reacted to the woman shooting

One user wrote, “Here’s Ashli Babbitt, the unarmed young woman shot and killed today, presumably by police, during a protest at the Capitol. She’s an Air Force veteran with 14 years service from San Diego.”

Another tweeted, “I’m sitting in the House chamber here tonight, about 20 feet from where a woman was shot and killed about seven hours ago, and I can’t stop thinking about how this isn’t going to change anything for some Republicans. Mo Brooks still has a stack of papers in front of him.”

“I feel like it should be a much bigger story that an unarmed woman who had a husband and was an Air Force veteran was shot to death by Capitol police today,” a Twitter user said.

“This woman accepted the consequences when she took the risk. Sad, sure. But know what’s even sadder? Breonna Taylor was shot 6 times by plain clothed police officers who forced entry into her home, robbing her of justice and the future she deserved to enjoy. Now that’s sad,” wrote a social media user.
