Multiple Google Pixel 7 users reported the no service no sim card issue recently. Other than that, users are experiencing cellular connectivity issues.

Reports of Google Pixel 7 ‘No service’ and ‘No sim’ card issue

According to several Google Pixel users, they can see network bars and can make phone calls after inserting their SIM card into their Pixel 7 or 7 Pro handsets. However, after some time, the cellular network disappears and is no longer available.

They start to see ‘No network’, ‘No sim’, or ‘No service’ alerts on their phones and have to experience frequent network failures.

“Received my Pixel 7 Pro last week and constantly have the network connection dropping to ‘No Service’ with the exclamation mark over the signal icon. There doesn’t seem to be a pattern at all, it’s happened in various locations and situations. I assume this is the dreaded issue I’ve been reading about,” a user posted.

“Everything seems to work great with the phone apart from.. shocker, phone connectivity.. connects to sim network for 2 seconds or so and then drops out for another minute or so, repeat over and over,” another user posted.

One affected user also reported that they got a “No SIM” notification even after inserting a physical SIM card. Others said they have tried different service providers and SIM cards but the issue persists.

Moreover, some Pixel 7 owners claimed they received a ‘No network’ issue while transferring between networks or while connecting to a cellular network after being connected to a Wi-Fi connection.

Faulty modems might have caused the network issue

According to recent reports, it seems that some Pixel 7 phones were shipped with damaged modems. Fortunately, Google is going to replaces the devices with weak signal, network, or cell reception related issues.

Some users reached out to Google support, who assured that they have taken notice of the problem and a fix was in the works. However, no timeline was provided for the resolution.
