Iran’s defense minister has strongly reacted to the military threats by Israel and has warned that Tehran will raze Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground if any aggression occurred against Iran, according to Tehran Times.

Iranian Defense Minister Amir Hatami was speaking at a ceremony on Sunday when he made these comments.

Iran will raze Tel Aviv if Israel attacks

“Sometimes, the Zionist regime [Israel] out of desperation makes big claims against the Islamic Republic of Iran to allegedly threaten it while this regime knows and if it doesn’t know, it must know that if it does a damn thing, we will raze Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground,” Hatami said.

The regional conflicts between the two countries remain consistent during Joe Biden’s attempts to restore the Iran nuclear deal.

Benny Gatz, war minister of Israel recently threatened Iran that Israeli concerns about the Iran nuclear deal called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) should be considered in any future nuclear discussions. Or else Israel would “independently” take hasty actions.

Gantz claimed that the Israeli military is planning to attack Iranian nuclear sites and has discovered several target spots in Iran.

Kochavi’s threats to Iran

After Biden’s victory in the United States presidential election, Israeli general Aviv Kochavi also passed the same threat against Iran. He advised Biden not to join the JCPOA again. Kochavi even ordered Israel’s army to plan aggressive attacks against Iran.

Iran’s Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2015 with six world power groups helped in building better collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). However, Israel continued making extensive efforts to destroy the nuclear deal.

However, former US President Donald Trump majorly weakened the JCPOA and ceased it in May 2018. But now the new US government under President Joe Biden is willing to rejoin the JCPOA.

Defense Minister Hatami said Sunday, “Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei responded well to the Zionists many years ago. He said that the Zionist regime is not our main enemy and not at the level to be hostile against the Islamic Republic.”

Hatami further continued that the order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces will be executed on a single call. He advised them “not to make this mistake, even verbally.”
