These devices came with some excellent features for their price segment; a good example is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Processor. The latest reports across various social networking sites reveal that many Motorola Moto G series users are experiencing an issue on their devices, in which an alarm icon is showing up in the notification bar. This issue surfaces even when there’s no alarm set up.

Multiple reports reveal that Motorola Moto G users are now reporting an issue, in which an annoying alarm icon keeps showing on their devices. Explaining the issue, the affected users mentioned the alarm icon surfaces on their phone’s notification bar even when there’s no setup for any alarm.
For now, the affected users are still yet to understand the exact cause of the issue. Many of them mentioned they tried using a couple of troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue temporarily. These steps include rebooting their devices into safe mode, restarting the “Clock”, resetting app restrictions, and clearing data and cache. However, none of these generic solutions was effective in helping the users address the issue on the ground. No acknowledgment yet, but there’s a workaround
Unfortunately, the Motorola team is yet to release any statement to acknowledge the alarm icon issue on the ground.
