US denounces Czech cyberattack, tells China to ‘behave responsibly’

The United States on Wednesday condemned a cyberattack targeting the Czech Republic’s foreign ministry that Prague blamed on Chinese-linked group APT31.

“This is another instance of harmful cyber activity originating from APT31, and we urge China to behave responsibly in cyberspace, adhering to its international commitments,” the US Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy said in a post on X.
