iPhone Duo price around the world

From Apple’s own stores to authorized resellers in South Asia and Africa, the price of its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, depends on where you buy it, which storage tier you choose and whether the offer is a preorder.

Prices checked October 23, 2026.

The iPhone Duo has arrived with a price that makes choosing a storage capacity feel like a major purchasing decision. Apple’s first foldable starts at $1,999 in the United States, while the top-end 2TB version reaches $3,199 before applicable sales tax.

The bill looks different elsewhere. In India, the entry model costs ₹2,99,900. British buyers pay £1,999, while Apple’s UAE store lists the same capacity at AED 8,499. In Pakistan, Mercantile-branded promotional material lists the 256GB version at PKR 899,999.

Those are prices for the same 256GB storage tier. Comparing them properly means looking beyond the currency symbol, particularly if you are considering buying abroad. Before its launch, the device was widely known as the iPhone Fold, when its final name and price were still the subject of reports.

iPhone Duo price around the world

The table below lists Apple’s advertised starting prices for the 256GB iPhone Duo, checked against its regional online stores. These are device prices before trade-in credits, carrier incentives or conditional bank offers.

Country or region Starting price, 256GB
United States US$1,999
Canada C$2,999
United Kingdom £1,999
Germany €2,299
France €2,339
Italy €2,369
United Arab Emirates AED 8,499
India ₹2,99,900
Saudi Arabia SAR 9,499
Mainland China RMB 15,999
Hong Kong HK$17,499
Japan ¥364,800
Singapore S$3,099
Australia A$3,499
Brazil R$21,999
Türkiye ₺229,999

All figures are in local currencies. U.S. and Canadian prices are subject to applicable taxes at checkout. This is a comparison of advertised prices, not a ranking by converted cost.

One detail stands out without needing an exchange-rate calculation: Apple does not charge a single euro price. The 256GB Duo costs €40 more in France than in Germany, and €70 more in Italy. The differences come as buyers are also assessing Apple’s wider iPhone price increases.

For shoppers comparing countries with different currencies, the calculation is less straightforward. The exchange rate your bank applies and any foreign transaction fee matter more than a rounded conversion in a price chart. Apple’s U.S. payment guidance specifically notes that international card payments can be affected by exchange rates and conversion charges.

India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and authorized-reseller markets

Apple’s own store prices cover only part of the market. Authorized distributors and resellers also list the Duo, although a product page does not always mean a phone is ready for immediate delivery.

The following prices come from the named sellers’ listings, with Pakistan’s figures taken from Mercantile-branded promotional material. Dealer prices and launch offers should not be treated as uniform national prices.

Country Advertised price or status Seller and offer details
India ₹2,99,900 for 256GB Imagine, an Apple authorized reseller; matches Apple’s starting price
Pakistan PKR 899,999 for 256GB Mercantile-branded promotional graphic; advertised as PTA-approved with a one-year official Apple warranty
Bangladesh ৳4,49,999 for 256GB Executive Machines, an Apple authorized reseller; published product price
Sri Lanka From LKR 1,037,000 Futureworld, an Apple authorized reseller; range advertised at LKR 1,037,000–1,648,000 across storage variants
Nepal Coming soon; no published price Evostore, an Apple authorized reseller; interest registration available
South Africa From R47,999 iStore, an Apple Premium Partner; starting price for 256GB
Philippines ₱159,990 for 256GB at launch Power Mac Center, an Apple Premium Partner; preorder launch offer, against a listed SRP of ₱170,990

Sri Lanka’s figure is the reseller’s advertised starting price across variants. Nepal has no published price in the listing reviewed. Pakistan’s pricing and warranty claims are attributed to the promotional graphic by Mercantile. Confirm the selected capacity, stock and delivery date with the seller.

India: the same starting iPhone Duo price through an authorized reseller

Imagine advertises the Duo from ₹2,99,900, matching Apple’s own 256GB price. That gives buyers a useful benchmark when evaluating retailer offers. Cashback, exchange bonuses and installment promotions should be compared separately, including any conditions attached.

Pakistan: iPhone Duo prices start just below Rs 900,000

Mercantile-branded promotional material lists the iPhone Duo from PKR 899,999 for 256GB, rising to PKR 1,390,000 for 2TB. The graphic advertises the devices as PTA-approved and includes a one-year official Apple warranty.

Storage Advertised Pakistan price
256GB PKR 899,999
512GB PKR 980,000
1TB PKR 1,145,000
2TB PKR 1,390,000

The move from 256GB to 512GB costs another Rs 80,001. Choosing 2TB adds Rs 490,001 to the base price, taking the total to Rs 13.9 lakh.

For buyers comparing these figures with an overseas offer, the PTA-approved status advertised in the promotion is a detail to confirm on the specific handset. Ask the seller to confirm the final invoice amount, warranty coverage and delivery date before paying.

Bangladesh: a published price, with availability varying by retailer

Executive Machines lists the 256GB model at ৳4,49,999, the 512GB version at ৳4,99,999, 1TB at ৳5,99,999 and 2TB at ৳7,19,999.

That does not mean every authorized retailer has opened sales. Gadget & Gear’s product page still labels the Duo “Coming Soon.” The useful comparison is therefore the named dealer’s price and delivery commitment, rather than a single figure described as the Bangladesh price.

Philippines: the launch offer needs its own label

Power Mac Center lists a ₱159,990 launch price for 256GB, compared with a suggested retail price of ₱170,990. Its published preorder window runs from October 16 to October 29.

The lower figure is a launch offer, and should be identified that way when placed beside Apple’s standard store prices. Buyers should also check when their chosen configuration will be delivered.

iPhone Duo Price: How much does extra storage cost?

Apple offers the Duo with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB or 2TB of storage. Here is how the full range is priced in three major markets.

Storage United States United Kingdom India
256GB $1,999 £1,999 ₹2,99,900
512GB $2,199 £2,199 ₹3,24,900
1TB $2,599 £2,599 ₹3,74,900
2TB $3,199 £3,199 ₹4,49,900

Sources: Apple’s U.S., UK and Indian stores. U.S. figures exclude applicable sales tax.

In the U.S., moving from 256GB to 512GB adds $200. Choosing 2TB adds $1,200 to the entry price, an increase of roughly 60%. In India, the jump from the base model to 2TB costs an additional ₹1,50,000.

That makes storage worth deciding before getting drawn into monthly payment offers. Check how much space your current phone actually uses, then allow for the photos, video and downloaded files you expect to keep. The highest capacity is an expensive precaution if most of it will sit empty. Buyers considering a conventional flagship can also consult Insider Paper’s iPhone 18 Pro Max price guide.

Is buying an iPhone Duo abroad cheaper?

It can be, but the sticker price alone cannot answer that question.

In the U.S., Apple calculates applicable sales tax using the delivery address or the location of the store where an order is collected. In Canada, the taxes applied depend on the shipping address. A straight conversion of either advertised price can therefore understate the checkout total.

Before comparing an overseas offer with a local purchase, account for:

  • The final checkout total: Include taxes charged where you buy.
  • Currency conversion: Use your card provider’s rate and fees.
  • Import costs: Check the requirements for bringing the device into your home country.
  • Service coverage: Confirm where Apple will provide warranty service.

That last point deserves attention on an expensive folding phone. Apple’s warranty terms allow it to restrict iPhone warranty service to the country where Apple or an authorized distributor originally sold the device.

Connectivity needs checking, too. Apple lists the Duo as eSIM-only, so buyers should confirm that their carrier supports the particular model they intend to purchase. Mainland China has an additional restriction: Apple’s local store says domestic eSIM activation is supported on the locally sold A3721 model.

A cheaper purchase becomes considerably less appealing if activation or repairs turn into a problem after returning home.

iPhone Duo vs iPhone 18 Pro Max

What does the price buy?

The Duo’s main attraction is its folding display. It has a 5.4-inch outer screen for everyday phone use and a 7.6-inch inner screen that gives apps, documents and video more room. Apple pairs that design with its A20 Pro chip and a titanium frame and hinge cover. For context, Insider Paper previously compared the expected specifications of the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max and Duo before the launch.

According to Apple’s launch announcement, availability begins on October 23 in more than 70 countries and regions, with another 28 following on October 30.

The buying decision comes down to how often that larger screen will earn its keep. Someone who regularly reads documents or works across apps has a clearer reason to consider the Duo than someone who mainly wants a new iPhone for messaging and photos. Our iPhone Duo vs. iPhone 18 Pro Max comparison looks more closely at what buyers gain and give up with each model.

At these prices, it is worth trying the folding design in person before committing. And when comparing offers, keep the storage capacity fixed and compare the full amount you will pay. A low monthly figure or an attractive overseas sticker price can obscure a very expensive phone. Reports have also raised the possibility of a future iPhone Duo Max, but Apple has not announced that model.
