At the recently held Unpacked event, Samsung was able to announce its new products, including the Galaxy Note 20 series. Interestingly, the newly released Note 20 series comes with lots of amazing features. However, what’s even more interesting is the Windows feature, introduced on the new devices. Talking about the feature, Samsung and Microsoft announced a new, improved Android app integration in Windows 10 for the Note 20 series. With that, it means Galaxy Note 20 users will be able to run their mobile apps on Windows 10 PCs. That’ll be possible through Link to Windows and Microsoft’s Your Phone app.

Galaxy Note 20 Owners Will Soon Be Able To Run Their Mobile Apps On Windows PC

Link to Windows is not new for many Samsung Galaxy users since it debuted on last year’s Galaxy Note 10 series. The feature allows users of Windows 10 PCs to transfer files, take calls, and synchronize all phone notifications with their computers. Recently, Samsung and Microsoft announced, with a demo, that the new Link to Windows integration feature will be available for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 owners.

According to a report by The Verge, the feature will first be available for Windows Insider users. As a Galaxy Note 20 user, you’ll be able to run mobile apps on your Windows 10 PCs, through the Your Phone app. The mobile apps will be a list of all the Android apps, installed on the Note 20 smartphone. Furthermore, users will be able to open the apps simultaneously on their PCs and enjoy them in a Windows mode.

Here’s a brief description of what Microsoft said about the improved feature:

“Now, the Your Phone app is about to get even better. The new Apps feature gives you access to your Android apps on your Note 20 directly from your PC. Now you’ll be able to combine the benefits of running a mobile app on your Galaxy Note 20 with your PC screen, keyboard, and mouse.”

More Information About The Feature

According to Microsoft, the new feature, which offers apps experience in Your Phone, is already in its beta versions of the app on Windows 10, for testing. Also, apart from Note 20, the feature is compatible with devices like Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 9, and Note 10.

For now, eligible users won’t be able to run multiple Android apps on their Windows 10 PCs. That’s because Microsoft is still working on how to perfect Your Phone apps. However, the giant software company assured that it’ll add the option to run multiple apps simultaneously, in the coming months.
