That’s because it can affect anybody, irrespective of their class, skin color, or age. On October 1, around 10:44 p.m., President Donald Trump took to his official Twitter account to confirm that White House aide Hope Hicks tested positive for coronavirus. Since the announcement, more than a dozen people in the White House, including Trump and his associates, have been diagnosed with the virus. Hope Hicks, born on October 21, 1988, is a Senior Counselor to President Donald Trump. She assumed the office on March 9, 2020, serving alongside Derek Lyons. Mr. Trump held a campaign rally in Minnesota on September 30 and Hicks was present. According to reports, after the rally, she started feeling unwell and isolated herself on Air Force One while heading back to Washington. On October 1, the US President took to his official Twitter account to announce that Hicks tested positive for coronavirus.

Early hours of Friday, October 2, President Trump tweeted that he and his wife have tested positive for coronavirus. The president moved into isolation immediately and later, he was moved to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. There, he spent three days receiving the necessary treatments. On Monday, the president returned back to the White House.

Melania Trump, the First Lady of the US, took to her Twitter account to confirm what the president said regarding their COVID-19 status. Since October 2, she has remained in quarantine at home, in the White House. According to reports, she experienced a few symptoms of the virus, including mild cough and headache. Furthermore, she was able to tweet on Monday that she’s still in isolation but already feeling good.

4- Kayleigh McEnany

Another person on the list of White House staff and Trump associates that have tested positive for coronavirus is Kayleigh McEnany. On Monday, the White House press secretary confirmed that she has contracted the virus. Furthermore, she added that she was unaware that Hinks tested positive for the virus before briefing the press on Thursday, without using a mask.

5- Ronna McDaniel

Ronna McDaniel, born on March 20, 1973, is currently the chair of the Republican National Committee. She assumed the office on January 19, 2017. On October 2, shortly after Mr. Trump’s announcement, Ronna also took to her social media account to confirm that she tested positive for coronavirus. Furthermore, she also added that she’s been resting in her home in Michigan since September 26. According to reports, she was tested because one of her family members tested positive for the deadly virus.

Bill Stepien, Trump associate, and 2020 campaign manager has also tested positive for coronavirus. He made the announcement on October 2, shortly after the president’s announcement. Furthermore, reports confirmed that he experienced flu-like symptoms, including cough.

7- Sen. Mike Lee

He’s currently the Chair of the Joint Economic Committee, assuming the office on January 3, 2019. Furthermore, the Republican lawmaker confirmed on October 2 that he tested positive for the virus.

Sen. Thom Tillis, born on August 30, 1960, is the US senator representing North Carolina. He assumed the office on January 3, 2015, serving alongside Richard Burr. On October 2, the lawmaker confirmed that he has tested positive for coronavirus. Furthermore, he also mentioned that he was self-isolating at his home after experiencing flu-like symptoms, including a mild cough.

9- Chris Christie

Chris Christie, the former governor of New Jersey, is a very close associate of Mr. Trump. According to reports, he helped the president to the last debate against Joe Biden. On October 3, the ex-governor took to Twitter to announce that he has contracted the virus. Furthermore, he added that he was only experiencing mild symptoms.

10- Nick Luna
