According to the latest report, the popular insider Jon Prosser has come out with another leak regarding Apple’s upcoming flagships. A live video specifically showing the details of iPhone 12 Pro Max, has now appeared on his YouTube Channel, called Front Page Tech.

Furthermore, Prosser claims to have gotten the video from a source at a Product Validation Test unit. That said, let’s have a quick look at the design and features revealed by the tipster.

Design And Features

In the live video, Prosser reveals that the upcoming iPhone 12 Pro Max will come with a LIDAR sensor on its back. This has been one of the main focuses of many rumors of the upcoming flagships. Speaking of the sensor, it’ll help the upcoming device with autofocus and subject detection, while recording video and when the Night Mode is enabled.

Furthermore, Prosser also claims via the live video that iPhone 12 Pro Max will be capable of capturing 4K video, at 120 fps and 240 fps in slo-mo mode. Comparing that with the features of the iPhone 11 Pro, which is 1080p at 240 fps, you’ll agree that this is a significant improvement.

Recently, rumors have it that Apple has dropped the 120 Hz refresh rate, due to issues relating to performance. However, that might never be the case if we’re to go with the new leak. That’s because Prosser reveals in the live video that the upcoming iPhone 12 Pro Max will come with a higher 120 Hz refresh rate. However, depending on what a user is doing on the screen, the new device will be able to switch from 120Hz to 60 Hz. The purpose of that is to help preserve the battery of the smartphone.

Finally, the video also hints at the design of the upcoming iPhone 12 Pro Max. Previously, rumors suggested that there’ll be a decrease in the notch size of the upcoming device. However, that’s likely not going to be the case as the new leak suggests that the cut-out size of the iPhone 12 Pro Max is similar to that of its predecessor.

Although the video looks very true, since the information is not official, it’s advisable that you take as a rumor. You can check below to watch the video by Prosser.
